Abstract Physical models of anatomical structures can be made using Additive Manufacturing (AM) or Subtractive (SM). The advantage subtractive techniques over additive ones is the possibility maintaining homogeneity and consistency processed material, which extremely important in case medical devices. Currently, a geometrically complex model even on simple, 3-axis CNC machine tool.
